Terms at a glance
You may use this website for lawful business research and enquiries. Website copy does not create a service commitment. A project begins and is governed by the proposal, statement of work or service agreement accepted for that engagement.
Acceptance and relationship to project agreements
These Terms of Service apply when you access or use the SEO Surrey website. By continuing to use the website, you agree to follow these website-use terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These terms do not replace a signed proposal, statement of work, order form or service agreement. If a project agreement conflicts with this page, the project agreement governs the applicable engagement unless that agreement states otherwise.
Permitted and prohibited use
You may browse, reference and share links to publicly available pages for lawful personal or business research. You may not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to the website, server, accounts, forms or connected systems.
- Introduce malicious code, overload the website, bypass security or interfere with normal operation.
- Use automated extraction in a way that disrupts the website or reproduces substantial protected content.
- Submit false, unlawful, infringing, abusive or misleading information through website forms.
- Misrepresent an affiliation with SEO Surrey or use website materials to impersonate the business.
Access may be restricted where use threatens website security, violates these terms or interferes with other visitors.
Proposals, estimates and service agreements
Website descriptions explain general capabilities. The exact work for a Surrey business or another client depends on its website, market, locations, priorities, platform and available data.
A project agreement should identify the services being purchased and may address:
Deliverables
Audits, page work, local search, campaign management, reporting, development or other defined outputs.
Timing
Start conditions, milestones, review periods and dependencies that affect delivery.
Commercial terms
Fees, billing schedule, applicable taxes, third-party costs and payment conditions.
Responsibilities
Required access, approvals, content input, implementation ownership and communication contacts.
An estimate is based on the information available when it is prepared. Material changes in scope, access, platform condition or required work may require written approval and an updated fee or schedule.
Client responsibilities
Project results and timing may depend on cooperation from the client and other providers. Unless the applicable agreement says otherwise, the client is responsible for:
- Providing accurate business, service, location, pricing and compliance information.
- Confirming authority to provide website, analytics, advertising and business-profile access.
- Reviewing recommendations and supplying approvals within agreed review periods.
- Ensuring claims, offers, regulated statements and supplied materials are accurate and legally usable.
- Maintaining required platform accounts, licences, hosting, domains and third-party subscriptions.
- Informing SEO Surrey about website migrations, redesigns, campaign changes or other work that may affect the engagement.
Delays in access, approvals, implementation or required client input may change delivery dates and performance timelines.
No guaranteed rankings, traffic or lead volume
SEO, local search, paid advertising and AI-assisted search depend on third-party systems, competitors, customer demand, website condition and decisions outside SEO Surrey's control. Search engines and advertising platforms may change their algorithms, interfaces, policies, eligibility requirements and reporting at any time.
Unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise, no representation on this website guarantees:
- A particular organic ranking or Google Maps position.
- Inclusion or citation in an AI-generated search response.
- A specific traffic, impression, click, enquiry, booking, revenue or return level.
- Continuous availability of a website, account, listing, campaign or third-party feature.
Case studies and examples describe a specific starting point, work completed and measurement period. They do not promise the same outcome for another Surrey business, industry or service area.
Website content and project deliverables
The website's original text, design, graphics, branding and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless stated otherwise. Limited quotation and linking may be permitted by law, but website content may not be republished, sold, copied at scale or presented as another party's work without permission.
Ownership and permitted use of client-specific deliverables, working files, templates, licensed assets, tools and pre-existing materials should be stated in the relevant project agreement. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, stock assets, platform tools and software remain subject to their own licence terms.
Clients confirm that they have the necessary rights or permissions for materials they supply, including logos, photographs, testimonials, customer data, trademarks and written content.
Access credentials, confidentiality and privacy
Each party should protect confidential project information and restrict account access to people who reasonably need it. Passwords should not be sent through general website forms. Where practical, platform invitations, password managers or other approved access-sharing methods should be used.
The handling of personal information submitted through the website is described in the Privacy Policy. A project agreement may include additional confidentiality, data-processing or account-security requirements.
Fees, third-party costs, changes and ending services
Fees, deposits, billing dates, taxes, renewal terms, late-payment conditions, refunds, cancellation rights and notice periods are determined by the applicable proposal or service agreement.
Advertising spend, software licences, premium plugins, hosting, domains, stock assets and other third-party charges are separate from service fees unless the agreement expressly includes them. Third-party providers may change their pricing or terms independently.
Either party's ability to pause or end services, and the treatment of completed work, outstanding invoices, account access and deliverables, is governed by the applicable agreement and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Disclaimers and limitations
Website information is provided for general business and educational purposes. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Although reasonable care may be taken when publishing information, the website may contain omissions or become outdated as search platforms, advertising systems and industry practices change.
The website and its public content are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. SEO Surrey does not promise uninterrupted access or that every page, link, tool or statement will always be error-free or current.
Any project-specific warranty, indemnity, liability limitation, remedy or risk allocation must be interpreted under the signed agreement and applicable law. Nothing on this page excludes a right, remedy or obligation that cannot legally be excluded.
Applicable law, changes and contact
These website terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable in British Columbia and Canada. A signed project agreement may contain more specific governing-law, venue, negotiation or dispute-resolution provisions.
These terms may be updated when the website, services, contracting process or applicable requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued website use after an update is subject to the revised website terms.
This page provides general terms and is not a substitute for legal advice. The business should obtain qualified legal review before relying on these terms for a specific contracting model, consumer transaction or regulated service.
